Revenge of the Savage Planet drops launch trailer that’s equally as bizarre as all the others

Table of Content

The Revenge of the Savage Planet launch trailer just dropped at FGS Live from Gamescom LATAM, and it’s as wonderfully unhinged as all the others we’ve seen so far for this game from developer Raccoon Logic.

The highly anticipated sequel is doing things a little differently from the original game, opting this time for a co-op focus for its space exploration with cross-play across all platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, and PC).

You’re tasked with exploring multiple planets with various tasks to accomplish as you attempt to understand these alien worlds. You’ll have to scan the local flora, capture some animals, delve into cave systems, and scale mountains if you want to discover everything… and get back to Earth to get revenge on your former employer who just so happened to make you redundant and leave you on the outskirts of space.

You can play online or locally with a buddy as you explore, utilising various weaponry including three different types of – and I quote – “gameplay goo”.

With plenty to discover, including brand new gear, you can also display some of the things you find in your very own space trailer. It’s fully customizable, don’t you know?

Revenge of the Savage Planet drops on PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PC via Steam and Epic on May 8. However, you can pre-order now to get early access from May 5 and a whole load of exclusive content including four new missions and a gold lamé space suit. You too could be the envy of your friends.
